Technician (The Mora Singapore)

Job Summary Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs for hotel facilities and equipment to ensure safety, functionality, and compliance with hotel standards. Responsibilities Inspect hotel facilities and equipment regularly to identify maintenance needs and prevent breakdowns. Perform preventive maintenance and repair works on electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, mechanical, and carpentry systems. Troubleshoot issues in guest rooms, public areas, restaurants, offices, and back-of-house areas to restore functionality promptly. Ensure HVAC, lighting, water supply, fire protection, and electrical systems operate efficiently and safely. Repair or replace faulty equipment and fixtures to maintain hotel standards. Complete all maintenance tasks following safety regulations and hotel policies. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service reports, and equipment readings for tracking and compliance. Support hotel energy conservation and sustainability initiatives by implementing efficient maintenance practices. Coordinate with external contractors and vendors to facilitate specialized repairs or services. Required competencies and certifications Minimum 1-2 years of experience in maintenance or engineering roles. Minimum NITEC or Higher NITEC qualification.
