Responsibilities
- •Support the manufacturing of optical products from NPI to high-volume production
- •Analyze manufacturing data to identify yield detractors and implement improvements
- •Collaborate with R&D to ensure product manufacturability and testability
- •Troubleshoot and resolve production line issues related to product performance
- •Define and optimize manufacturing processes and test procedures
- •Manage product changes and qualifications
Required
- •BS/MS in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Optical, Mechanical)
- •+ years experience in product engineering for optical manufacturing
- •Strong understanding of optical component and module manufacturing processes
- •Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis
- •Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement solutions
- •Familiarity with DFM/DFA principles
Nice to have
- •Experience with optical transceiver products
- •Knowledge of cleanroom manufacturing environments
- •Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for data analysis
- •Experience with NPI (New Product Introduction) processes
