About the job Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Singapore, the Senior M&E Technician is responsible for the daily preventive maintenance of all plant and equipment within the property. The role includes carrying out repair and troubleshooting work on mechanical and electrical systems and equipment. The Senior M&E Technician supervises and guides other technicians during their respective shifts to ensure maintenance tasks are completed safely and efficiently. The position also requires performing standby duties in the control room and responding promptly to maintenance calls from various departments. During the midnight shift, the Senior M&E Technician assumes responsibility for all engineering activities on site, ensuring smooth operations in the absence of other senior engineering staff.
