KYC Analyst / Associate (1-Year Contract)

Our client is seeking a KYC Associate to join the Client Services team within a financial services environment on a 1-year contract. The role focuses on onboarding Corporate, Financial Institution (FI), and Institutional clients, ensuring all KYC and due diligence requirements are met in accordance with regulatory and internal standards. Responsibilities: Perform end-to-end client onboarding for Corporate, FI, and Institutional clients Conduct KYC due diligence, customer risk assessments, and documentation review/verification Review and assess Source of Wealth (SOW) information and supporting documents where required Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal KYC/AML policies Liaise with Compliance, Legal, Operations, and other internal stakeholders to facilitate onboarding Manage client documentation and resolve onboarding-related queries Support periodic KYC reviews, remediation exercises, and ongoing client maintenance Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline 1–4 years of KYC / Client Onboarding experience within a financial institution, brokerage, or capital markets environment Experience handling Corporate, FI, or Institutional clients (candidates should have exposure beyond retail clients) Familiarity with Source of Wealth (SOW) assessment and supporting documentation Good understanding of KYC/AML regulations and customer due diligence requirements Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail Good communication and stakeholder management skills By sending your job resume to us, it shall be deemed that you have agreed and hereby give your consent to Merries Employment LLP in collecting, using and/ or disclosing your personal data for the purpose of accessing and processing your job application and/ or for future job opportunities within Merries and/ or with the client(s) of Merries.
