About this role

Prepare and review tender documents, quotations, cost estimates, progress claims, variation orders and final accounts for construction projects. Take off quantities and prepare bills of quantities based on drawings, specifications and project requirements. Monitor project costs, budgets, subcontractor claims, material costs and other construction-related expenses. Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations, prepare cost comparisons and assist in procurement matters. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and clients on contractual and cost-related matters. Assess and process progress claims, payment certificates, variation works and subcontractor payments. Maintain proper records of contracts, claims, variation orders, cost reports and supporting documents. Support the project team in cost control, budget monitoring and commercial documentation throughout the project. Any ad-hoc tasks assigned by superior. Job Requirements Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, ConstructionManagement, Civil Engineering or related field. 1–3 years of relevant experience in construction / maincontractor environment will be an advantage. Familiar with tender documents, drawings, specifications and construction project requirements. Knowledge of PSSCOC contracts will be an advantage. Able to work independently, meticulous, analytical and willing to learn. Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
