Assistant Director (IT Infrastructure) - DIS

You are responsible for the management of information technology (IT) infrastructure projects and strengthening the infrastructure architecture to enhance availability, scalability, security and maintenance. - Provide dedicated focus for the development and delivery of IT infrastructure and other related projects to enhance connectivity, UX, UI and productivity - Strengthen the IT infrastructure architecture to enhance availability, scalability, cross-compatibility, maintenance and security - Develop IT infrastructure analytic tools to support decision-making for optimising the management of OSIT infrastructure - Manage and work with various project teams to ensure delivery and roll-out of projects within the approved budget and schedule Challenge(s) - Working with different IT Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across intra and inter-ministry level - Education in IT or related disciplines - At least 6 years of prior IT project-management experience - Ability to work independently and communicate across multiple agencies within MINDEF/SAF as well as across Whole-of-Government Ministries and Statutory Boards - Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
