You will provide professional leadership and governance over the Army's maintenance sub-budget, ensuring fiscal discipline, transparency, and sustained operational readiness. - Oversee the detailed planning, execution, and monitoring of maintenance funding - Ensure decisions are aligned with systems criticality, readiness outcomes, and sustainment risk - Analyse maintenance budget submissions and conduct variance and trend analysis - Identify emerging funding risks and optimisation opportunities - Ensure compliance with financial directives and governance frameworks across all stages of the budget cycle Challenge(s) - Navigating the complexity of aligning maintenance funding decisions with operational readiness priorities across diverse technical and functional stakeholders - Balancing fiscal discipline and compliance requirements while identifying opportunities to optimise limited maintenance resources - Education in Business, Finance, or a related field - At least 3 years of relevant experience in a related field - Strong analytical and financial reasoning skills - Proficiency in data analytics tools and advanced spreadsheet applications - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively across technical, operational, and financial domains - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team Appointment will be commensurate with your experience.
