Senior Manager/ Manager (Translation)

As Senior Manager/Manager (Chinese Translation), you will be part of Translation Department, Public Communications Division. Your role is to support the Whole-of-Government national initiatives and public communications efforts by producing quality translated communications materials. You will also be required to provide secretariat support to the National Translation Committee (NTC). - Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese - Possess 2 to 6 years of relevant experience in translation or a communications/language-related field - Knowledgeable about current affairs - Able to adapt to a dynamic environment with good critical thinking skills - Experience in project management and leading project teams - Experience in performing secretariat duties is an advantage - Familiarity with translation technologies, including Translation Management Systems (TMS), machine translation (MT) engines, AI-powered translation solutions, and computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools – or an ability to quickly adopt emerging language technologies – is an advantage - Strong digital literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft 365, collaborative workplace platforms and AI-powered productivity tools Please note that only shortlisted candidates would be notified.
