Assistant Manager/ Manager/ Senior Manager (Public Service Media)

• Formulate sound funding policies and design governance safeguards to ensure prudent use of public funds by media outlets receiving Government funding • Translate understanding of local audiences and media consumption behaviour into strategies or projects that help grow the reach, relevance and impact of public service media in a fast-evolving, competitive landscape, especially in the age of rapid technological developments such as AI • Develop policies to shore up our public service media entities to expand internationally, and build mindshare on Singapore perspectives around the region. • Manage funding agreements and grants to ensure compliance with funding obligations and the achievement of agreed KPIs and outcomes. • Help Singaporeans feel represented by, and resonate with the Singapore identity – through public service media • Build and manage relationships with media organisations, government agencies and other stakeholders to advocate for the role of public service media, develop policies and drive implementation. • Both public policy or private sector experience welcome • The job deals with policy issues that intersect with media, law and tech. Work experience or background in media, law, regulation, funding , or tech would be advantageous • Independent, hands-on problem solver • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to convey ideas clearly and effectively in writing • Comfortable with numbers • Excellent critical thinking skills • Passion for media and local content/news!
