The National Transport Academy (NTA) seeks to advance transport excellence by nurturing a strong and close-knit community of transport sector academies and collaborating within a vibrant transport training ecosystem to enhance existing and emerging competencies within the MOT Family. NTA also stewards Singapore’s transport heritage to instil pride and purpose, through the development of multi-modal heritage centres rooted in progressive institutional knowledge. You will be part of a dynamic team and help to: 1) Determine the baselines of statutory board and sector academies for the purpose of ensuring high quality instruction, consistency of andragogy, relevant skill and expertise certification, the development of cross-synergies and to harness opportunities for creation of strategic value. 2) Develop the role of NTA in the strengthening of the internal, industry and international transport training dimensions. 3) Develop and determine the strategy and scope of coverage of programmes to be run by the NTA, both BAU and flagship programmes, including that for purposes of strengthening our ICAO/IMO candidature, as well as for thought leadership pre-eminence and knowledge partnership. 4) Determine the sustainable legal structure and business model for the NTA and transport heritage centre(s), respectively. 5) Help Senior Director/Deputy Director oversee the establishment of the multi-modal/satellite transport heritage centres. • Preferably at least 2 years of relevant work experience with Ministries or other public agencies. • A good understanding of curriculum development and learning design, and experience in training programme and/or events management. Preferably with knowledge of public sector governance and management. • A sociable and spontaneous self-starter with an inquisitive mind with good communication, interpersonal, organisation and administration skills and a keen sense of responsibility. • Attentive to details and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and sometimes meet tight deadlines. • Proficient in MS Office Applications and interested in technological applications and innovations. • Able to work independently and in a team.
