Job description As the Chief of Staff, you will be the strategic right-hand to the Managing Director (MD), driving organizational effectiveness by leading cross-functional initiatives, managing high-priority projects & serving as a key liaison between leadership & the rest of the company. This role is well-suited for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment & excels at hands-on execution, cross-functional coordination & building foundational systems & scalable processes that support organizational growth. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that people, processes & priorities are executed effectively & in a timely manner across the organization. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, high emotional intelligence & the ability to act with discretion while driving complex business goals. Key Responsibilities Management & Executive Support: Act as a trusted support partner to management & the MD by coordinating priorities, tracking action items & following up on key deliverables across teams Manage the operational cadence of the MD's office, including preparing meeting agendas, taking minutes, tracking milestone reporting & following up on action items to ensure timely & successful execution Track project timelines, milestones & dependencies across various business functions Strategic Projects & Initiatives: Lead & oversee key business initiatives & high-priority projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with overall company direction Cross-Functional Coordination & Process Improvement: Serve as a bridge between leadership & various departments to foster strong collaboration, remove silos & ensure smooth coordination of work & information flow Identify gaps in workflows, documentation, or communication to propose & drive practical improvements Support & explore the implementation of systems, tools, or software that improve efficiency, clarity & scalable growth Governance & Documentation: Organize & maintain digital documentation to ensure accessibility, accuracy & version control Support compliance with internal policies & applicable regulatory requirements Strategic Communications: Synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights for decision-making; manage internal & external communications on behalf of the MD Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred Core Expertise: Minimum 5 years of extensive experience in business operations, strategic planning & human resources within a professional or corporate environment Technical & Professional Skills: Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace & project management tools; proven ability to leverage software to improve operational efficiency; strong analytical & problem-solving capabilities Preferred: Proven track record of supporting C-suite executives in a fast-paced SME or scaling business Professional Attributes: Unwavering integrity & confidentiality; ability to work with high autonomy, adaptability & proactive initiative; Exceptional emotional intelligence (EQ), highly organized & comfortable with ambiguity
