Cloud Ops Lead

We’re seeking a Cloud Operations Lead to drive the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure, lead technical discussions, and oversee Proof-of-Concepts for resilient solutions. The role involves identifying workloads for migration, optimizing systems for performance and cost efficiency, ensuring compliance with data security regulations, and resolving infrastructure issues. Key Responsibilities: Lead teams in technical discussions and design of cloud-based infrastructure. Execute Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) and implement resilient cloud and infrastructure solutions. Assess workloads to determine suitability for cloud migration. Monitor and fine-tune cloud environments for optimal performance and cost efficiency. Safeguard data security and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Diagnose and resolve infrastructure and cloud-related issues. Prepare and deliver technical documentation and presentations for both clients and internal stakeholders. Manage partnerships with key vendors. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent. Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience. Demonstrated expertise in designing and deploying cloud architectures. Background in VMware Cloud Foundation platform design or operations is advantageous. Effective presentation, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset. Skilled at building and maintaining trusted relationships across diverse stakeholders.
