Applications Engineer (RF Power / Vhdl / Semiconductor)

They provide deep technicalapplication engineering and support to major semiconductor chipmakers acrossthe region. Key Responsibilities: Connect, operate, and troubleshoot high-power, high-voltage electrical equipment across lab environments and cleanrooms. Drive measurement, data acquisition, and statistical process analysis (SPC) using digital tools like Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW to derive clear physical performance conclusions. Utilize VHDL environments to customize or update embedded logic configurations within RF generators and matching networks, adapting power parameters to highly volatile plasma conditions. Work closely with local and international sales, marketing, and product development units to provide consultative support and map complex customer requirements into design wins. Travel locally and internationally (~10-15%) to diagnose complex site integration issues and safely handle high-energy electrical components directly at client manufacturing plants. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Semiconductor Engineering, or Applied Physics. Possess functional knowledge of VHDL for hardware description logic programming. Minimum 1 to 2 years of hands-on technical experience within a semiconductor manufacturing or high-power electronics test environment. Practical experience utilizing electrical test instrumentation, including digital oscilloscopes, DVMs, LCR meters, and vacuum equipment components (pumps, valves, pressure gauges). Foundational knowledge of Data Analysis techniques including Statistical Process Control (SPC), data trending, and Design of Experiments (DOE).
