Responsibilities Assess risks and determine the coverage position Provide preliminary evaluations to the Motor underwriting team on new business opportunities and renewals First point of contact for assigned clients and business partners/intermediaries in service delivery Support daily operations in the Motor underwriting department Co-ordinate with other underwriting teams and intermediaries to identify potential business opportunities Requirements Bachelor's degree ideally from a numerical/technical discipline such as Management/Business Studies, Accountancy, Engineering, Economics, Actuarial Studies, Mathematics, Statistics Prior exposure to Commercial Motor Underwriting is a pre-requisite, and experience working in the non-life re/insurance industry is an added bonus Candidates without a degree but with relevant Motor insurance experience are also welcome SCI certifications are required for this position; those without the necessary certifications will be provided with sponsorship Actual job title will entirely depend on the candidate's professional experience Salary will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and the salary range stated in this job posting serves strictly as a guide Proficient in MS Excel, including the use of pivot tables Good communication and organisation skills Good client and stakeholder management Good time management Team player Due to the volume of applications received, we will only contact shortlisted candidates.
