Assistant Vice President, Legal | EPC / Construction | 10+ PQE | Singapore (CL-OC-18) About the company Our client is a leading player in a complex, project-driven industry with significant operations in Singapore and the region. The role This is a broad in-house legal role supporting the General Counsel across commercial, operational and strategic matters, with a stronger emphasis on EPC, construction and project-related legal work. The successful candidate will work closely with the business on contracts, disputes, risk management and major projects. Key responsibilities Draft, review and negotiate EPC, construction, procurement and other commercial contracts Support legal issues arising from major projects, business operations and new initiatives Advise on disputes, claims and litigation, including external counsel management Support on corporate, restructuring, JV and other business-driven matters Strengthen legal templates, processes and internal frameworks Provide advice on compliance, governance and regulatory issues relevant to the business Requirements At least 10 years’ PQE Trained in a reputable law firm and/or gained relevant in-house experience Strong experience in EPC, construction, infrastructure or major project work Experience in commercial contracts and disputes / claims management Prior exposure to offshore, marine, engineering, energy or renewables sectors would be advantageous Commercially minded, practical and able to work independently with stakeholders across the business Interested applicants do reach out via email to claire@2nats.com (do not only apply through this job portal, TQ!)
