Senior Tax Leadership Role, Global Tax | 15+ Years (CL-FIN-01) About the opportunity A world-leading player in its field with a large multinational footprint is looking to appoint a senior tax professional for a broad global tax leadership role. This is a highly visible position suited for someone who can combine strong technical tax expertise with commercial judgment, senior stakeholder management and the ability to operate across complex international markets. The role The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting tax strategy, governance and execution across a diverse global business. The role will involve advising on cross-border matters, managing tax risk, strengthening tax processes and supporting major business decisions from a tax perspective. There will also be a strong focus on improving how the tax function operates, including the use of digital tools, automation, data and AI-enabled solutions. Key responsibilities Advise senior stakeholders on tax implications relating to business operations, investments, financing, restructuring and cross-border transactions Support the management of tax compliance, reporting and governance across multiple markets Strengthen transfer pricing frameworks, documentation and related global reporting obligations Monitor and manage tax risks, audits, disputes and engagement with tax authorities Support tax input on M&A, commercial projects and strategic business initiatives Improve tax processes through better use of systems, data, automation and workflow tools Work closely with finance, legal, treasury, business and regional teams across the group Requirements Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Tax, Economics or a related discipline Around 15 years or more of relevant tax experience Strong background in international tax, transfer pricing and corporate tax matters Experience gained in both professional services and multinational in-house environments would be preferred Exposure to large-scale, cross-border businesses such as trading, manufacturing, supply chain, industrials or similarly complex sectors would be useful Familiarity with global tax developments, including BEPS, Pillar Two and country-by-country reporting, would be advantageous Comfortable using technology, automation, data analytics or AI tools to improve tax workflows Mature, hands-on and commercially minded, with confidence working across jurisdictions and senior stakeholder groups Why this role This is an opportunity for an experienced tax leader to take on a broad, high-impact role within a complex multinational environment.
