We are currently seeking two highly skilled and dedicated Piping QAQC Engineers / Inspectors to join our client's team on an exciting and impactful Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF) project. Role We are seeking two experienced Piping QAQC Engineers / Inspectors to play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality and integrity of piping systems for a crucial IWMF project. These positions are critical for upholding rigorous quality assurance and quality control standards throughout the project lifecycle, from documentation to final system handover. Location Project Site (IWMF Project), Singapore Duration 6 Months (Extendable Contract) Start Date Immediate Responsibilities Oversee and ensure the timely preparation and submission of all remaining Water Supply and Cooling (WSC) system test packages, verifying adherence to project specifications and industry best practices. Develop, prepare, and issue comprehensive weld map drawings for the WSC piping system, ensuring meticulous documentation for traceability and quality control purposes. Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to accurately define and finalize hydrotest boundary limits for various piping systems. Prepare and submit detailed hydrotest procedures, including thorough flushing and cleaning plans, to guarantee system integrity, cleanliness, and operational readiness. Proactively manage, track, and follow up on all punch list items, ensuring prompt resolution and timely closure of identified deficiencies with contractors and relevant stakeholders. Monitor and facilitate the efficient resolution and closure of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), implementing effective corrective actions and contributing to continuous improvement. Plan, coordinate, and execute all necessary piping inspections, ensuring timely follow-up with clients, contractors, and third-party inspectors to maintain project schedules and stringent quality standards. Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation for all QAQC activities, inspections, and test results. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related technical field. Proven experience (minimum 5+ years) in a QAQC Engineer or Inspector role, specifically focused on piping systems within large-scale industrial projects (e.g., power generation, oil & gas, waste management, data centres). Strong understanding of international piping codes and standards (e.g., ASME B31.1, B31.3), welding processes, NDT methods, hydrotesting, flushing, and cleaning procedures. Demonstrated proficiency in preparing technical reports, weld maps, test packages, and managing punch lists and NCRs. Relevant certifications such as CSWIP, AWS CWI, or API certifications are highly advantageous. Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and contractors.
