Dba Database Administrator (Mssql & Mongodb)

We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator to support mission-critical production systems in a secure 24/7 environment. You will be responsible for the availability, performance, security, and reliability of Microsoft SQL Server and MongoDB platforms, working closely with infrastructure, system, software, and security teams. Key Responsibilities Provide Day 2 (L2/L3) production support for MSSQL and MongoDB, including incident response and root cause analysis. Manage high availability environments including SQL Server Always On and MongoDB Replica Sets. Perform database administration, backup & recovery, patching, upgrades, and disaster recovery testing. Monitor and optimize database performance through tuning, indexing, and capacity planning. Support application deployments, database releases, data migrations, and post-deployment validation. Implement database security, access controls, auditing, and vulnerability remediation. Maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and support compliance with government security standards. Participate in 24/7 on-call support for critical production incidents. Requirements 5–8+ years of hands-on DBA experience supporting enterprise production environments. Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server (Always On, HA, performance tuning) and MongoDB (Replica Sets, backup/recovery). Experience supporting 24/7 mission-critical systems and Severity 1 incidents. Knowledge of database deployment, data patching, and release management. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with ITIL operations, virtualization/container environments, or integration platforms is an advantage. Experience in Singapore Government or other regulated environments is highly preferred.
