Assistant Test Manager

We are looking for an Assistant Test Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of software testing activities for mission-critical IT systems. Working closely with the Test Manager, you will lead a team of Test Engineers while remaining hands-on in testing, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and compliant software solutions Key Responsibilities Support the Test Manager in planning and managing SIT, UAT, Regression, DR, and Verification Testing activities. Lead, mentor, and coordinate a team of Test Engineers, assigning tasks and monitoring testing progress. Execute and oversee functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing . Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test reports, and testing documentation . Manage defects, lead defect triage sessions, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution. Support API and automation testing using tools such as Postman and Playwright . Coordinate with project managers, developers, system engineers, and business users throughout the testing lifecycle. Communicate testing progress, risks, and quality metrics to project stakeholders. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related discipline. 3–4 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance. At least 2 years of experience leading or mentoring testing teams. Experience in customer-facing roles and stakeholder management. Strong knowledge of manual testing, STLC, SIT/UAT, API testing, and defect management . Familiarity with testing tools such as JIRA, Postman, Playwright, Azure DevOps, or TestRail . Excellent analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
