Platform Lead

We are seeking a Platform Infrastructure Lead to lead the operations of enterprise container platforms and shared infrastructure services. You will manage a team responsible for ensuring the availability, security, and performance of Kubernetes platforms, middleware, and enterprise COTS applications supporting mission-critical systems. Key Responsibilities Lead a team of 4–6 infrastructure engineers supporting container platforms and platform services. Manage platform operations, incident response, problem management, change implementation, andd lifecycle activities. Deploy, configure, and support Kubernetes, Docker/Podman, and enterprise COTS products including MongoDB, MSSQL, NGINX, Apache, IBM MQ, MQTT, Kafka. Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and integration teams to resolve platform issues and support new services. Ensure platform monitoring, logging, documentation, and operational runbooks are maintained. Drive platform upgrades, patching, OS hardening, capacity planning, and performance optimization. Lead Disaster Recovery (DR), Business Continuity (BCP), and operational readiness activities. Promote automation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across the platform environment. Requirements 7-10 years of experience in platform engineering, infrastructure, or middleware operations, including team leadership. Strong hands on expertise with Kubernetes, Docker/Podman, Linux administration, and OS hardening. Experience managing enterprise COTS platforms including MongoDB, MSSQL, NGINX, Apache, IM MQ, and messaging technologies. Good understanding of networking, firewalls, load balancers, monitoring, and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, eG Enterprise). Experience with CI/CD, automation (Ansible, scripting), and modern platform operations. Strong leadership, troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
