Position Summary The Finance Manager is responsible for leading the Finance Department and ensuring the accuracy, integrity and compliance of all financial and accounting activities of NNR Global Logistics (S) Pte Ltd. The position oversees finance operations, statutory compliance, taxation, treasury, audit, budgeting and reporting while acting as the key finance business partner to the Managing Director, Headquarters and department managers. The Finance Manager is also responsible for developing the Finance team, improving internal controls and ensuring business continuity through effective documentation and succession planning. Key Responsibilities 1. Financial Reporting & Closing Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing. Review and approve journal entries and General Ledger postings. Ensure timely preparation of Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements. Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations. Maintain accounting records in accordance with SFRS and company policies. Review monthly management accounts before submission. 2. Finance Operations Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger functions. Review supplier payments and customer collections. Approve payment vouchers and online banking transactions. Monitor cash flow and working capital. Prepare cash flow forecasts. Manage banking facilities and relationships. Purchase foreign currencies when required. Manage intercompany settlements and reconciliations. Review customer credit limits and outstanding receivables. 3. Audit, Compliance & Corporate Secretarial Coordinate interim and year-end external audits. Liaise with auditors and respond to audit queries. Prepare statutory financial statements. Prepare and submit XBRL financial statements. Maintain accounting schedules and supporting documentation. Support Annual General Meeting requirements. Coordinate with Company Secretary on statutory matters. Ensure compliance with ACRA and Singapore regulatory requirements. 4. Taxation Prepare and review ECI. Coordinate Corporate Income Tax filing. Review GST returns. Coordinate tax matters with external tax agents. Maintain Transfer Pricing documentation. Ensure compliance with Singapore tax regulations. 5. Headquarters Reporting Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports for Headquarters. Prepare annual budget and periodic forecasts. Perform variance analysis against Budget and Prior Year. Respond to financial queries from Headquarters. Support preparation of Board and Shareholders’ meeting materials. 6. Treasury & Asset Management Maintain Fixed Asset Register. Review depreciation schedules. Monitor capital expenditure. Coordinate insurance renewals and finance-related claims. Review financing arrangements when required. 7. Leadership &Business Partnering Lead and develop the Finance team. Allocate responsibilities within the department. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Develop successors and maintain proper documentation. Improve finance processes and internal controls. Partner with department managers to provide financial guidance and business support. Support the Managing Director with financial analysis and business decision-making. 8. Transition &Continuous Improvement Lead the transition of Finance responsibilities from the existing Finance Manager. Ensure effective documentation of key finance processes. Establish sustainable finance procedures and knowledge sharing. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through digitalization and automation. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree inAccounting, Finance or equivalent. CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent professional qualification preferred. Minimum 8 years of accounting and finance experience with at least 3 years in a managerial position. Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), GST, Corporate Tax and statutory compliance. Experience in external audit coordination. Experience in budgeting and financial analysis. Strong leadership and communication skills. Experience working with multinational or Japanese companies is an advantage. Experience in freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain industry is preferred. Reporting Line: Reports directly to the Managing Director.
