As an Operations Manager, you will manage a portfolio of vessels and ensure that every voyage is executed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard. You will work closely with colleagues across Chartering, Operations and Commercial Management while building relationships with owners, charterers, agents and vessels worldwide. What you will be doing You will have the opportunity to: Take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of several tanker vessels in the fleet. Manage your own defined area of responsibility with focus and accountability. Coordinate closely with internal teams, vessels, agents, charterers and owners to ensure smooth voyages. Play a key role on a collaborative team focused on providing high-quality service. What you bring With an internal collaboration and external goal-oriented mindset and attention to detail, you handle both daily operations and unexpected challenges with ease. You communicate clearly and effectively, whether working with colleagues, vessels or external partners. Further, we are looking for a colleague who: Has a minimum of 2 years’ experience in vessel operations ashore. Possesses good IT skills and a solid understanding of operational systems and processes; experience Has experience with meticulous data entry. Can navigate a changing environment in a challenging industry, adjusting to new processes and ways of working while continuously working to improve. Besides this you are at your best when managing several moving parts at once, remaining structured, detail-oriented and solutions-focused even when deadlines are tight.
