The Commercial Operations Executive provides essential operational and administrative support to Novogene's Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) business. This role is responsible for coordinating shipment and logistics activities, supporting commercial operations including billing and customer fulfilment, handling biological samples, and providing system and administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of services to our customers. Responsibilities Coordinate local and international shipment activities, including inbound and outbound courier bookings, shipment tracking, and import/export permit applications, while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. Support commercial fulfilment activities by coordinating local deliveries and sample collections with customers and logistics service providers. Receive, inspect, and process biological samples in accordance with established laboratory and operational protocols. Handle and store biological samples according to specified temperature and handling requirements to maintain sample integrity. Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner. Support commercial administration by generating invoices, delivery orders, and submitting eInvoices through customers' electronic invoicing or procurement platforms. Procure office supplies and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely replenishment of office and operational materials. Support payment administration by preparing payment requests, processing supplier invoices, and coordinating with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure timely payment processing. Maintain accurate operational records and ensure all documentation is complete and compliant. Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure efficient order fulfilment and shipment execution. Perform other administrative and operational duties and projects as assigned. Requirements Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related discipline. 1–3 years of experience in operations, logistics, customer service, commercial support, or administration is preferred. Fresh graduates with a positive attitude are welcome to apply. Good organizational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook). Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Comfortable handling biological samples and following standard operating procedures. Experience with logistics coordination, import/export documentation, eInvoicing platforms, or laboratory operations will be an added advantage.
