Director of Immersive Education Programs

This role leads the vision, strategy, and execution of student and educator programs, including hackathons, residencies, and immersive labs, translating complex immersive media concepts into accessible learning frameworks. The Director is responsible for overseeing end-to-end program execution, managing budgets, and ensuring programs align with OceanX's mission and strategic priorities. Candidates must have at least 10 years of experience in experiential education or interdisciplinary program leadership, preferably with a Master's degree in a relevant field. Essential qualifications include strong fluency in immersive media concepts (like XR) and proven leadership experience managing teams, budgets, and complex multi-partner initiatives.
