Job Summary We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team. You’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment at client sites, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Install mechanical and electrical systems at client sites to ensure operational readiness Inspect and repair industrial machinery, including steel strapping and pallet handling equipment, to maintain functionality Perform routine maintenance and respond to emergency service calls to minimize downtime Diagnose technical issues using knowledge of PLCs, sensors, and related systems to provide effective solutions Document service activities and maintain accurate records for client and internal use Communicate clearly with clients to explain repairs and recommend preventive maintenance measures Collaborate with internal teams to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction Required competencies and certifications NITEC, Diploma, or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in field service or technical support roles Proficient knowledge of PLCs, sensors, and industrial machinery operation and troubleshooting Valid driver’s license with willingness to travel locally and overseas Preferred competencies and qualifications Experience working independently and managing time effectively in field service environments Fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin or Malay is advantageous Prior experience specifically with PLC systems Other Information What We Offer: Competitive salary and performance bonuses Health insurance and paid leave Career advancement opportunities Friendly and supportive work culture
