Position: Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer Functional Group: Project Execution (PE FG) Working Location: Lamma Power Station (LPS), Hong Kong Working time: 08:30-17:30 Monday to Saturday (alternative Saturdays) Accommodation provided: No Key Responsibilities Assist Project Managers to handle Electrical & Instrumentation projects, including but not limited to tendering, design work, schedule planning and site inspection Coordinate with clients and contractors in preparing works permits, site measurement work and quotations, and follow up other site work activities Liaise with relevant parties for work schedules and method statements of the installation work Conduct site checks to ensure the work quality, safety standards and good housekeeping practices are maintained at work sites Implement and monitor the Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) systems Review instrumentation engineering deliverables including datasheets, specifications, loop diagrams, and hook-up drawings Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of assigned Electrical & Instrumentation engineering deliverables as per project schedule and scope Ensure compliance with international standards (e.g., IEC, ISA, API) and client specifications Participate in design reviews, HAZOP analysis, SIL studies, and other safety reviews Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (process, piping, mechanical, electrical) to ensure seamless integration of instrumentation systems Support procurement activities by preparing technical specifications, datasheets, and vendor evaluations Interface with vendors for technical evaluation, procurement, and FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) Prepare material requisitions and assist in cost estimation and budgeting Conduct site visits for installation supervision and ensure compliance with design Assist construction teams by providing technical support and resolving field issues Support commissioning teams with technical guidance and troubleshooting Assist in commissioning phases by ensuring instrumentation systems are installed, calibrated, and functioning as per design Requirements: Higher Diploma or above with major in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines. Registered as Grade B Electrical Worker is preferred Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering within the oil & gas EPCC sector (Fresh Graduates are also welcome) Strong understanding of field instrumentation, control valves, analyzers, and control systems (DCS/PLC/SCADA) Familiarity with hazardous area classification and instrumentation for explosive environments Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Knowledge of international codes and standards (ISA, IEC, API, ASME as applicable) Less Experience Candidate will be considered as Assistant Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer Proficient in engineering software tools such as AutoCAD, and MS Office Candidate with a valid driving license (1 or 2) is preferred Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, project-driven environment Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese to communicate with Chinese speaking clients. Be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and documenting processes. Be able to work well with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in Cantonese speaking is advantageous Willing to working at construction site and powerplant Salary: 35-45k HKD/ month
