Position: Software Control Engineer (Job ID: 20130) Manufacturing Company Location: Ubi (10 minutes walk from MRT) Seeking candidates from the semiconductor industry/cleanrooms AWS + VB provided Salary up to $6,000 (Depending on experiences) Job Description: Design and maintain safety-critical control systems for automated manufacturing lines. Our client is a manufacturing company that designs and manufactures automatic machines and conveyor lines that are used in the manufacturing process for cleanrooms. Key Responsibilities: • The Software Control Engineer will develop, implement, maintain, and validate safety-critical control systems and software for industrial automation. • The role will involve design, build, installation, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional engineering team, and maintaining compliance with industry standards. • Contribute to the testing and commissioning of equipment, ensuring reliability and functionality. • Perform any other duties assigned by management. Job Requirements: a) Diploma or Degree in Mechatronics/Electrical/Electronics/Computer – Engineering or equivalent. b) Knowledge in Control Systems Design, Concepts and Safety Compliance Documentation. c) At least 2 years’ experience in developing PC-based equipment control applications using C#, C/C++ or similar languages. d) Knowledge in PLC programming, I/O addressing and Industry Standard Communication (e.g. ModBus, TCP/IP, EtherCAT). e) Strong interpersonal skills and able to work both individually and in a team.
