Project Contracts Manager (A1 Main Contractor, Mrt Project)

About the Company Join a leading A1 civil engineering contractor with a strong track record in delivering large-scale infrastructure and MRT projects across Singapore. As part of a flagship rail project in the western region, we are seeking an experienced Project Contracts Manager to lead the commercial and contractual functions of this high-value development. About the Role Reporting to the Project Director and Senior Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for managing all contractual and commercial aspects of a major MRT infrastructure project valued close to SGD 500 million . You will play a key role in protecting the company’s commercial interests, managing risks, and driving successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities Manage and advise on contractual matters, rights, and obligations throughout the project lifecycle Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate variation orders, claims, and Extension of Time (EOT) submissions Oversee project cost control, financial performance, and cash flow management Manage subcontract administration, including procurement, claims, and final accounts Identify contractual risks and implement mitigation strategies Handle dispute resolution processes including negotiation and mediation Liaise with client representatives, consultants, and internal stakeholders on commercial matters Ensure proper documentation and reporting for all contractual and claim-related activities Requirements Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent Minimum 10–15 years’ experience in contract/commercial management for infrastructure or civil projects Proven experience in large-scale MRT / rail projects in Singapore preferred Strong working knowledge of FIDIC and Singapore public sector contracts Excellent track record in claims management and dispute resolution Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills Please send your CV outlining your relevant experience to wenyu.jiang@peoplesearch.jobs (Jiang Wenyu, Reg No: R1332558).
