About this role

Contract: 6 months Working hours: 8.30am to 6pm, Mon - Fri Location: City Hall Salary: $4,500 - $5,900 You will be expected to: Assist the Judicial Officers in matters affecting cases before the Court of Appeal (CA) and the Appellate Division of the High Court (AD); Manage cases filed in the CA and the AD through analysing, reviewing, monitoring and processing documents in accordance with the applicable legislation, rules, practice directions, standard operating procedures and policies; Draft case summaries, papers/reports, notices and general correspondence and liaise with lawyers, self-represented persons and other stakeholders (including external agencies) to facilitate smooth proceedings and the efficient disposal of cases; Compile, verify and maintain accurate up-to-date case information and statistics on cases, caseload and disposal, preparing reports including analysis of the statistics where appropriate; Manage and provide support in the development and implementation of operational systems or hanges thereto or in administering the operations of the CA/AD Registry; and Assist in the functions and work of the Registry in general as and when assigned. Requirements: Preferably with at least 2-3 years of working experience.
