Operational Leadership & Governance Support the Operations Director in overseeing the performance, efficiency, and effectiveness of all operational functions. Monitor operational delivery, productivity, service levels, and workforce performance across departments. Drive accountability and execution of operational priorities, action plans, and management commitments. Facilitate operational governance forums, performance reviews, and management meetings. Identify operational risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely resolution and escalation where appropriate. Develop and implement governance frameworks to support operational excellence and business objectives. Cross-Functional Coordination Coordinate activities across Collection Operations, Establishment Strategy & Engagement, Validation & Data Assurance, Quality & Compliance, Training & Capability Development, Inbound Operations, and Operations Intelligence. Resolve operational bottlenecks and cross-functional issues impacting service delivery and business performance. Ensure alignment of operational priorities, resources, and execution plans across teams. Foster collaboration, communication, and information sharing among operational functions to achieve common goals. Transformation & Continuous Improvement Support the implementation of the future-state operating model and key transformation initiatives. Monitor project milestones, implementation progress, and operational readiness to ensure successful delivery. Identify opportunities to enhance operational processes, productivity, efficiency, and customer outcomes. Lead process improvement, operational integration, and change management initiatives. Drive the adoption of automation, technology solutions, and best practices to improve operational effectiveness and scalability. Client & Stakeholder Management Support client engagements, operational reviews, and service delivery discussions as required. Manage operational escalations and complex issues involving clients, partners, and key stakeholders. Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure operational concerns, risks, and service issues are addressed proactively and professionally. People Leadership & Management Support Provide leadership, coaching, and strategic guidance to operational managers and functional leads. Constructively challenge and support managers on performance, execution, and operational effectiveness. Champion capability development, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance. Act as the Operations Director's delegate and assume leadership responsibilities in their absence when required. Crisis Management & Operational Recovery Lead operational recovery efforts during workforce shortages, service disruptions, critical incidents, or project challenges. Support managers in developing contingency plans, mitigation strategies, and recovery actions. Provide decisive leadership during high-pressure situations and operational emergencies. Strengthen business continuity capabilities and ensure operational resilience across all functions. Requirements Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related discipline preferred. Minimum 10 years of progressive operational leadership experience, including responsibility for large-scale service delivery environments. Proven track record in managing diverse operational teams and delivering sustainable business results. Experience in contact centres, business process outsourcing (BPO), field operations, survey operations, shared services, or similar operational environments is highly desirable. Strong stakeholder management skills with experience engaging clients, senior leaders, and cross-functional teams. Demonstrated ability to solve complex operational challenges and make sound business decisions in a fast-paced environment. Experience leading organisational transformation, operational change, process improvement, or business optimisation initiatives. Excellent communication, influencing, and leadership skills with the ability to drive alignment and accountability across multiple functions. Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and project management capabilities. Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities.
