Staff Nurse (Icu)

Job Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Monitor patients' vital signs, clinical conditions, and response to treatment, and escalate concerns promptly. Administer medications, intravenous therapies, blood products, and other prescribed treatments safely and accurately. Operate and monitor specialized equipment such as ventilators, infusion pumps, and cardiac monitoring devices. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Perform nursing assessments, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and ensure compliance with hospital policies and standards. Educate patients and family members on treatment plans, procedures, and post-discharge care where applicable. Adhere to infection prevention, patient safety, and quality improvement initiatives.
