Senior Microsoft Cloud Engineer (Central)

Brief Summary: We are seeking a skilled professional to design and implement advanced cloud infrastructure solutions. This role will focus on streamlining operations and enhancing security measures within a Microsoft Azure environment. Responsibilities: Design and implement Microsoft Azure infrastructure solutions, including Azure Landing Zone and Hub-Spoke network architecture Support subscription governance, naming conventions, tagging, and Azure Policy design Implement infrastructure standardization and automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Bicep, ARM, or Terraform Support CI/CD-based infrastructure deployment utilizing tools such as GitHub Actions Design and configure Azure networking components, including VNet, NSG, UDR, VPN, ExpressRoute, and DNS Facilitate zero-trust and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) integration, including solutions like Zscaler Configure Microsoft Entra ID, incorporating SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, and privileged access management Support endpoint security, certificate management, vulnerability management, and patch management Design and deploy Azure IaaS servers and related infrastructure Assist in Azure Virtual Desktop design and implementation Support backup, archiving, and disaster recovery solutions for business continuity Design monitoring solutions using Azure Monitor and integrate operations tools Manage incident, change, and problem management processes Support ITSM integration with platforms such as ServiceNow Provide L2 troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and recovery support Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical standards Continuously enhance monitoring, patching, backup, and operations processes Act as a lead for small project teams, ensuring technical quality and consistency Support knowledge sharing and technical enablement for junior engineers Serve as a technical contact point for various stakeholders Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a relevant field Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and operating Microsoft Azure infrastructure Experience with Azure networking components, including VNet, NSG, UDR, VPN, ExpressRoute, and DNS Proficient in Microsoft Entra ID, including SSO, MFA, and Conditional Access Familiarity with IaC tools such as Bicep, ARM, or Terraform Experience with CI/CD tools including GitHub Actions or similar platforms Knowledge in monitoring, operational design, troubleshooting, and incident response Ability to deliver L2-level technical support and escalate issues as necessary Preferred experience with Azure Virtual Desktop and network devices such as FortiGate or Aruba Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications, such as Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, or Azure Network Engineer ITIL certification or practical experience with ITIL-based operations Experience in global operations, managed services, or on-call support Experience working with diverse teams and clients across various cultural backgrounds and time zones EA License No.: 01C4394 (PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE LTD) Registration No.: R23112488 (Julian Nerchan) By sending us your personal data and curriculum vitae (CV), you are deemed to consent to PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd and its affiliates to collect, use and disclose your personal data for the purposes set out in the Privacy Policy available at https://www.persolsingapore.com/policies.
