Markets Operations Analyst – Leading Investment Bank - J12990

We are working with a global financial institution looking to hire a Markets Operations Analyst to support regional trading operations across APAC. This role sits within a regional operations function and covers daily processing, reporting, issue resolution, controls, and process improvement across trading-related workflows. Responsibilities Support daily market operations activities across APAC Review, process, and monitor operational workflows across trading-related products Investigate and resolve breaks, disputes, failed movements, booking issues, and other operational exceptions Work closely with internal teams across operations, risk, finance, technology, and front office stakeholders Prepare reports and updates on operational performance, issues, controls, and process metrics Identify process gaps and support improvements to reduce risk, improve efficiency, and strengthen controls Contribute to regional projects, operational change initiatives, and procedure enhancements Maintain accurate documentation and ensure operational processes are followed in line with internal controls Requirements Experience in markets operations, trade support, middle office, derivatives operations, collateral operations, margin operations, clearing, or securities financing Good understanding of trade lifecycle, settlements, reconciliations, operational risk, and controls Exposure to products such as OTC derivatives, listed derivatives, repo, securities lending, prime brokerage, rates, FX, credit, commodities, or equity derivatives would be useful Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail Comfortable working with multiple internal stakeholders across regional and global teams Able to manage daily BAU priorities while supporting process improvement and project work Good communication skills and the ability to explain issues clearly to stakeholders Experience with Excel, reporting tools, workflow systems, or operations platforms would be advantageous With well over a decade of a solid and enviable track record behind us, headquartered in Hong Kong, Pinpoint Asia Infotech Pte Ltd (EA License: 16C8291) is the go-to IT Search Firm for several top Investment Banks and Financial Institutions.
