Digital Equipment Technician

PLAYON, Singapore’s new-generation digital sports play park, is looking for a hands-on Digital Equipment Technician to handle the daily maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of our digital sports and interactive entertainment equipment. Key Responsibilities Conduct daily inspections and preventive maintenance of all digital equipment Troubleshoot machine faults, system errors, sensor issues, software problems and connection failures Perform basic repairs, parts replacement, system resets, testing and calibration Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns during operating hours Maintain computers, screens, projectors, controllers, sensors, VR systems and related electronic equipment Record equipment faults, repair work and maintenance history Coordinate with suppliers and external technicians for complex technical issues Communicate directly with equipment manufacturers and technical teams in China Follow up on remote troubleshooting, spare parts, software updates and repair instructions Ensure all equipment is safe, operational and ready for customer use Requirements Experience in electronics, electrical systems, IT support, equipment maintenance, arcade machines, VR equipment or amusement systems is preferred Basic knowledge of computers, networking, wiring, sensors and electronic components Able to diagnose technical problems and carry out practical troubleshooting Able to communicate effectively in Mandarin Chinese with equipment suppliers and technical teams in China Able to read and understand basic technical instructions in Chinese Responsible, hands-on and able to work independently Willing to learn and maintain different types of digital sports, simulator, VR and interactive equipment Must be able to work on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays Comfortable working on a rotating shift schedule
