Maintenance Technician

Job Summary You will perform routine building maintenance to ensure a safe and functional environment, handling repairs, inspections, and supply management to support smooth supermarket operations. Responsibilities Perform routine building maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, repairing doors, painting, and conducting minor electrical and plumbing repairs to maintain facility safety and functionality Inspect control panels and electrical wiring to identify and address urgent issues promptly Take inventory of maintenance supplies and report when stock is low or depleted to ensure availability of necessary materials Respond promptly to emergency repair and clean-up requests to minimize operational disruptions Maintain all maintenance tools and equipment in good working order to ensure readiness and safety Carry out additional maintenance duties as assigned by management to support overall facility upkeep Preferred competencies and qualifications Technical knowledge in electrical or plumbing to enhance maintenance effectiveness Physical fitness and hands-on ability to perform maintenance tasks safely and efficiently
