About this role

Key Responsibilities Perform installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of vacuum systems and related industrial equipment at customer sites. Carry out equipment inspections, servicing and repairs to ensure optimal system performance and reliability. Perform system setup, configuration and basic software support, including fault diagnosis and issue resolution. Follow established work procedures, safety guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times. Escalate complex technical issues to the relevant engineering team when required. Prepare accurate service reports and maintain proper documentation of service activities. Build strong working relationships with customers by providing timely technical support and quality service. Participate in standby duties or shift work to support operational and customer requirements. Requirements Diploma, Higher NITEC or NITEC in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics or a related Engineering discipline. Minimum 1 year of experience in field service, equipment maintenance, technical support or a related engineering environment. Experience with vacuum systems, semiconductor equipment or other industrial equipment will be an advantage. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Customer-focused with good communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work independently as well as in a team environment. Willing to travel to customer sites and support standby or shift duties when required.
