Part-Time Student Care Teacher (English & Mandarin)

Responsibilities Supervise and care for primary school students in a safe and nurturing environment. Guide students in completing their daily homework, English spelling and Chinese 听写 (Ting Xie). Provide academic support and encourage good study habits. Maintain classroom discipline and foster positive behaviour. Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times. Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' learning progress and behaviour. Support centre activities and perform other duties assigned by the team leader. Requirements Diploma or higher in any discipline. Proficient in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written), as the role requires supporting students with bilingual schoolwork and communicating with students and parents in both languages. Passionate about working with primary school children. Patient, caring and responsible. Good classroom management and interpersonal skills. Experience in student care, tuition, childcare or education is an advantage. Preferred Qualities Able to commit to 2 weekdays (2PM - 7PM) per week on a regular basis. Long-term commitment is preferred. Able to build positive relationships with children. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Organised, dependable and proactive. Familiar with Singapore primary school curriculum is an advantage. University students pursuing a Bachelor's degree with a consistent weekly schedule are welcome to apply.
