Fragrance Innovation & Technology Manager (F&F Industry)

about the company Our client is an established, global Fragrance manufacturer with a strong international presence and expanding operations in Asia-Pacific. As part of their regional growth strategy, their Singapore Creative Centre serves as a central innovation hub for Southeast Asia. To drive regional growth, we are looking for Innovation & Technology Manager to lead the transfer and localization of proprietary global technologies into the regional market. about the job You will serve as the crucial technical bridge between Global HQ R&D and the regional Creative Centre in Singapore. You will lead technology transfer initiatives, specializing in fragrance delivery systems and encapsulation technologies, and adapt global IP for commercial success across Southeast Asian markets. Driving the tech transfer of advanced encapsulation and trigger-release delivery systems from global R&D to the regional application lab. Localizing and testing technology performance across regional application bases (Personal Care, Fabric Care, and Home Care) to suit ASEAN climate conditions and consumer habits. Partnering closely with Perfumers, Evaluators, and Commercial teams to translate complex technical capabilities into compelling client pitches for regional FMCG brand owners. Acting as the regional technical expert in client-facing meetings to explain delivery system performance, longevity, and stability. about the manager/team You will join a dynamic, cross-functional team within the Singapore Creative Centre, collaborating directly with Perfumers, Evaluators, Application Specialists, and Commercial Directors across Southeast Asia, while maintaining strong functional ties to global R&D leadership. skills and experience required Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Polymer/Material Science, or a related discipline. Minimum 5-8 years of experience in fragrance delivery systems, encapsulation, or microencapsulation technology within B2B Fragrance Houses or FMCG Innovation Labs (e.g., Personal Care or Fabric Care R&D). Proven track record in technology transfer, formulation scale-up, or regionalizing global technologies. Strong commercial mindset with good communication skills, capable of explaining complex chemistry to commercial partners and clients. Regional project management experience across Southeast Asian markets is highly advantageous.
