Lead Repair Development Engineer, Joining Technology We are seeking an experienced Lead Repair Development Engineer, Joining Technology to drive the development, industrialization, and deployment of advanced joining and repair technologies across a global repair network. You will be part of the Advanced Manufacturing & Repair Technology (AMRT) team, partnering with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and repair facilities worldwide to enhance quality, productivity, and operational performance. What We're Looking For Bachelor's Degree in Welding, Materials, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. 8 years of manufacturing experience, including at least 5 years specializing in joining technologies. Strong expertise in: Laser cladding processes Superalloy welding and brazing metallurgy Numerically Controlled (NC/CNC) machinery Solid understanding of manufacturing and repair processes within industrial environments. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities. Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across global and cross-functional teams. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Willingness to travel approximately 10% for project support and global collaboration Knowledge of industrial gas turbine components and repair technologies. Exposure to thermal spray coatings, surface finishing, machining, sealing, and related repair processes. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and industrialization of advanced joining and repair technologies to support manufacturing and repair operations globally. Design and implement innovative repair solutions to support new product introductions and component repair strategies. Develop validation plans for repair materials and laser cladding technologies in collaboration with New Repair Introduction teams.
