IT Officer

Job description: Lead and manage the IT department , providing guidance, support, and technical assistance to ensure smooth daily operations. Manage IT vendors and procurement , including negotiating contracts, evaluating solutions, and ensuring cost-effective purchases. Oversee and maintain IT infrastructure , including system upgrades, maintenance, migrations, performance monitoring, and outage planning. Drive technology improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing solutions that enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost savings. Ensure IT security, compliance, and governance through policy enforcement, security monitoring, audits, and best-practice implementation. Manage IT assets, budgets, and licensing , including budget planning, expense verification, software renewals, and resource allocation. Support organizational development and administration by coordinating IT training programs, preparing audit documentation, attending professional training, and assisting with ad hoc administrative tasks.
