About this role

A regional private bank is seeking a Client Onboarding Analyst to support the onboarding of new Private Banking clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting KYC and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) reviews, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies throughout the client onboarding process. Key Responsibilities Conduct Know Your Customer (KYC) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) reviews for new client onboarding in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Review and analyse customer information and supporting documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy. Perform Source of Wealth (SOW) and Source of Funds (SOF) assessments and documentation reviews. Conduct name screening, background screening and identify any potential risk indicators. Review client activities and supporting documents, obtaining additional information where required. Maintain accurate KYC records and ensure documentation is updated in accordance with internal standards. Manage the end-to-end onboarding process until all approvals and final sign-off have been obtained. Liaise with internal stakeholders to facilitate timely onboarding while ensuring compliance requirements are met. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or a related discipline. At least 2 years of experience in KYC, Client Onboarding or Customer Due Diligence within the Private Banking industry. Familiar with KYC, AML and regulatory requirements relating to client onboarding. Experience performing SOW/SOF reviews, name screening and client due diligence. Good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
