We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. The successful candidate will support tendering, cost estimation, project coordination, and ACMV engineering design works. Construction industry. Key Responsibilities Prepare quantity take-offs for project tender submissions. Evaluate tenders and quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. Source, review, and analyse quotations from trade suppliers and subcontractors. Prepare preliminary design proposals for Design & Build projects. Conduct cost comparisons and prepare reports for management approval. Monitor project costs and assist in cost control activities. Prepare and produce AutoCAD drawings. Interpret and review M&E drawings, technical specifications, datasheets, calculations, and engineering drawings. Support mechanical engineering design for ACMV systems. Perform ACMV design calculations, including heat load calculations, duct sizing, and cost estimation. Assist in the preparation of engineering plans and detailed designs. Provide technical support to engineers and advise on project administration and contractual matters. Carry out other quantity surveying and project-related duties as assigned. Requirements Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Building, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. 1–2 years of relevant working experience in the construction industry. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and AutoCAD. Ability to read and interpret M&E drawings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with suppliers and subcontractors. Able to work independently with minimal supervision and perform well under pressure to meet project deadlines.
