About this role

What you'll do: As a Social Media Content Creator based in Singapore for a leading gaming organisation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how audiences experience the creative journey behind popular games. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve developing fresh ideas for short-form vertical videos across multiple platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, X, and new channels. You will film captivating behind-the-scenes moments in the studio—showcasing developer stories and gameplay highlights—while ensuring each piece of content reflects the company’s values. By pitching recurring series concepts and trend-driven ideas that connect with gaming communities worldwide, you will own the end-to-end production pipeline: from ideation through scripting to filming and editing. Your ability to capture spontaneous moments as they happen will be crucial for delivering timely content. Working collaboratively with social media teams as well as developers and artists ensures every campaign beat or live event is covered seamlessly. Staying current on platform trends allows you to adapt your approach for maximum engagement. Occasionally appearing on camera or directing talent adds depth to your storytelling. Supporting publishing workflows guarantees consistency in output while maintaining high standards of quality throughout. Develop innovative ideas for short-form vertical videos tailored for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, X, and emerging platforms on a weekly basis. Film and edit engaging content that captures behind-the-scenes studio moments, developer stories, gameplay showcases, events, and reflects company values. Pitch recurring series concepts as well as trend-based and reactive social ideas that resonate deeply with gaming audiences. Manage the entire production pipeline independently—from ideation and scripting through filming, editing, captioning, sound composition, to final delivery. Act as the in-studio set of eyes and hands ready to capture spontaneous moments and turn around content quickly under tight timelines. Partner with social media, marketing, and agency teams to coordinate publishing schedules, community moments, campaign beats, and live event coverage. Collaborate with developers, artists, writers, and studio leadership to spotlight the people and creative processes behind game development. Stay up-to-date on platform trends, creator formats, editing styles, and audience behaviours across gaming and entertainment sectors. Occasionally appear on camera or direct on-camera talent when appropriate to enhance storytelling. Support social publishing workflows and maintain content calendars for consistent output. What you bring: Your proven experience as a Social Media Content Creator will be instrumental in this role. Drawing upon at least three years’ background in developing social-first or short-form video content—ideally within gaming or entertainment—you bring an impressive portfolio that demonstrates your ability to engage audiences through creative storytelling. Your familiarity with platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts is matched by your deep understanding of gaming community culture. Proficiency in shooting and editing high-quality vertical videos using industry-standard tools ensures you can deliver polished results quickly. Your strong narrative instincts allow you to translate complex game development processes into accessible stories that resonate online. Working independently in fast-paced environments comes naturally thanks to your excellent communication skills; you thrive when collaborating across teams. A genuine passion for video games and interactive entertainment fuels your enthusiasm for every project. Experience working directly with game developers or entertainment brands further strengthens your connection with audiences. Additional photography or motion graphics expertise adds depth to your skillset while familiarity with livestream production workflows supports dynamic event coverage. Understanding gameplay capture workflows ensures seamless integration of game footage into compelling social media assets. At least three years’ experience developing social-first or short-form video content ideally within gaming or entertainment industries centred around individual creators—or an equivalent portfolio demonstrating these skills.
