Post-Fixture Accounting Specialist

Salling Search is currently recruiting for an experienced Post-Fixture Accounting Specialist for a reputable shipping company based in Singapore. Responsibilities Review Fixture Recaps & Charter Parties, thoroughly analyze our contractual requirements related to payment of Hire Communicate effectively with worldwide Operations & Commercial colleagues to collect information required for Hire cash flow calculation and planning Prepare Hire statements in Veson and arrange payments/invoices for Trip & Period TC IN/OUT fixtures, taking care from delivery to finalization Maintain account overviews for key clients and assist with consolidations Ensure a high level of data quality in Veson through accurate and timely update of Hire entries and attention to reports Monitor redelivered fixtures, follow up pending items and actively seek recovery of undisputed balances to keep backlog to a minimum Training and mentoring of new members/trainees/interns as necessary Direct contact with external stakeholders such as Brokers, Owners & Charterers Arranging brokerage commission payments Requirements Background in shipping / post fixture accounting experience is preferable Proficient with numbers, attentive to accuracy and detail Comfortable working under time pressure and with deadlines Effective time management and working structure Shows initiative and a proactive approach to solving problems Contributes towards a culture of teamwork and mutual respect Takes responsibility and ownership for actions and outcomes Brings energy and commitment to improving results and quality Experience with Veson IMOS & M365 Suite is an advantage Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential Contact Kirc Lyndell Jareno at kirc@sallingsearch.com for more info or apply via our website.
