Salling Search is recruiting a Handy Broker for a growing shipbroking firm in Singapore to source cargo and vessels, provide market insights, and grow business relationships in the Handysize segment. Responsibilities Source and fix cargo and vessels within the Handysize dry bulk segment to meet client needs Build and maintain strong, outcome-driven relationships with shipowners and charterers to secure business opportunities Monitor and analyze market developments and freight trends to inform strategic decisions Provide actionable freight intelligence and commercial insights to support business growth and decision-making Collaborate with senior brokers to enhance team commercial performance and contribute to revenue targets Develop and expand a personal book of business through proactive client engagement and market outreach Requirements 2 to 5 years of experience in dry bulk shipbroking with direct exposure to the Handysize segment Established network of shipowners and charterers with a solid understanding of freight market dynamics Ability to work independently in a fast-paced broking environment with a commercial and relationship-driven approach Contact Kirc Lyndell Jareno at one@sallingsearch.com for more info or apply via our website.
