About this role
Job Descriptions: Full spectrum of the Financial, Accounting and Consolidation functions; Ensure timely submission of monthly financial reports; Perform proper analysis of accounts to ensure that entries into the financial accounts are appropriate; Preparation of costing report on ad-hoc basis; Assist Finance Manager in preparation of budget or forecast; Ensure that accounting transactions are only included in the financial reports if they had been properly documented and approved; Oversee and provide leadership to accounting team on day to day accounting function; Ensure that necessary statistical reports to the authorities are prepared and returned to the relevant authorities in a timely manner; Proper reporting of GST and assist in answering taxation queries; Provide support to the superior(s) in analysis and study of ad-hoc projects; Undertake ad-hoc projects or tasks as assigned periodically; Ensures financial systems and procedures are accurate and efficient; Ensures that internal control is adhered to; Provides and maintains accurate and timely financial transaction records and reporting; Engages in reducing or maintain Accounts Receivable turn-over rate to be below or within the credit term period or ensures that Account Payable transactions are matched to all necessary documentations and adhered to company policy or process guidelines (i.e. purchasing terms and conditions); Able to act independently and deal with routine problems, referring only complex situations to superior for guidance; Interfaces with external, internal auditors, tax agents or trade and development ministries relating to all financial, tax compliance in accordance with established accounting standards and statutory requirements; and Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time as your superior/management deem fit.
