Healthcare Assistant (Kidney Dialysis Centre)

Job Scope Maintain standards of patient care while working with our nursing team to provide patient care support Adherence to principles and practice of infection control, health and safety Assisting in the inventory management of stocks and consumables. Main responsibilities Preparation of the dialysis machine. Removal of medical consumables items from the dialysis machine. Perform machine, dialysis chair, and patient environment external disinfection. Ensure equipment is clean, safe, and in good working order, and report any defects to the in-charge. Assisting with stock management, e.g., adequate, correct, and appropriate stocks. Assisting patients pre- and post-treatment if needed e.g., assist patient out and into the wheelchair, assist to take the weight, etc. Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the treatment and non-treatment areas. Perform proper floor mopping, waste management, and patients’ toilets cleaning in the absence of the cleaner. Any other tasks or duties that are assigned to you Education / Training / Experience Minimum Secondary Education with Certificate in Healthcare Support Preferably with experience in dialysis setting Candidates with no relevant experience will also be considered.
