Cloud Security Engineer

Location: Punggol (Hybrid) Job Type: Contract role (Renewable basis) Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable applications, APIs, and automation solutions using modern programming languages and cloud technologies. Implement and manage cloud-native infrastructure, DevOps/DevSecOps pipelines, containerised workloads, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) across AWS and Azure environments. Develop and enhance endpoint security, identity and access management, Zero Trust, and threat detection solutions using industry-leading security platforms. Build and maintain observability, monitoring, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) capabilities to ensure system reliability, performance, and operational resilience. Evaluate emerging technologies, drive automation initiatives, and support continuous improvement across security and cloud platforms. Requirements Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 4–7 years of relevant working experience in Software Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related discipline. Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git. Good understanding of cybersecurity principles, Zero Trust architectures, identity and access management, and endpoint security solutions. Programming experience in Python, Java, Node.js, or similar languages, with understanding of APIs, databases, and software development best practices will be greatly beneficial. Experience with monitoring, observability, ELK Stack, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices will be advantageous.
