*GOV* Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Working Location: Central Working Arrangements: Hybrid Working Arrangement Salary Package: Up to $9,000 + AWS We are looking for a proactive IT Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and support our enterprise IT infrastructure and cloud platforms. This role combines infrastructure engineering, AWS cloud migration, automation, and digital transformation, offering the opportunity to work across a broad range of technologies and business initiatives. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure, including Windows/Linux servers, virtualisation, storage, networking, and identity services. Administer Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, backups, disaster recovery, monitoring, patching, and capacity planning. Plan and execute migration of applications and workloads from on-premises environments to AWS. Design, deploy, and optimise AWS infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, resilience, and cost efficiency. Develop automation solutions using Python, PowerShell, Power Automate, APIs, or similar tools to streamline IT operations. Build and maintain internal IT portals, dashboards, and workflow automation solutions. Troubleshoot infrastructure and cloud issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive improvements. Lead or support infrastructure refresh, cloud migration, and digital transformation projects. Prepare technical documentation and collaborate with vendors, project teams, and business stakeholders to deliver successful solutions. Implement infrastructure security best practices and support compliance, vulnerability management, and operational governance. Requirements Experience managing enterprise Windows and/or Linux infrastructure. Hands-on experience with VMware, Hyper-V, or similar virtualisation platforms. Experience designing or migrating workloads to AWS. Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, networking, backup, and disaster recovery. Experience with scripting or automation using Python, PowerShell, or similar technologies is advantageous. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
