About the Role SeaOwl Singapore is seeking an experienced Project Operations Manager to oversee the operational execution of complex engineering and offshore energy projects. This role is responsible for coordinating multidisciplinary teams, ensuring project delivery in accordance with contractual requirements, and driving operational excellence across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and logistics activities. The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and HSE compliance. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee day-to-day project operations from planning through execution and project close-out. Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, QA/QC, HSE, logistics, and subcontractor activities. Translate project schedules into operational work plans and optimise manpower, equipment, and material allocation. Monitor project progress against schedule, budget, and contractual milestones. Identify operational risks, bottlenecks, and delays, and implement effective mitigation measures. Ensure compliance with project execution plans, company procedures, and client requirements. Drive a strong culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence. Support project reporting by preparing operational updates, progress reports, and performance metrics. Identify variation orders and additional work opportunities, and support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals. Support commissioning, project handover, and close-out activities. Build strong working relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline. At least 8–10 years of experience managing project operations within offshore energy, HVDC, marine, EPC, oil & gas, or related industries. Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors on large-scale engineering projects. Strong knowledge of project planning, execution, construction, commissioning, and marine/offshore logistics. Good understanding of project scheduling, work breakdown structures (WBS), cost control, and contract administration. Familiarity with FIDIC, NEC, or similar contract forms will be an advantage. Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project . Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural project environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in HVDC Converter Platform or offshore wind projects. Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 management systems. PMP certification or equivalent is an advantage.
